In reply Pune warriors opened the batting with JD Ryder and MK Pandey, for Mumbai Indians Harbhajan Singh opened the bowling. Pune warriors lost JD Ryder of the very first ball to Harbhajan Singh. GC Smith too had a painful stay for his 6 and was eventually out of MM Patel. AA Jhunjhunwala came ahead of Yuvraj Singh and instead of helping pune warriors he created more trouble by wasting balls and getting out to KA Pollard. Yuvraj Singh came out in a pressure situation and with MK Pandey scored some glorious shots but eventually fell under pressure for 20 to a SL Malings bouncer. RV Uthappa and MK Pandey then threatened to take the match away with awesome hitting. Pune Warriors are looking lost after their recent losses and on other side Royal Challengers bangalore have gathered the much needed momentum after the arrival of Chris Gayle. Lets see if Royal challengers Bangalore maintain their momentum or Pune Warriors snatch the momentum from Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Pune Warriors won the toss and selected to bowl first. For Royal challengers Bangalore CH Gayle and TM Dilshan opened the batting and for Pune Warriors AC Thomas opened the bowling. Royal challengers Bangalore start was yet again impressive with CH Gayles big hitting. In less tha 7 overs Royal challengers Bangalore scored more than 50 runs without any loss. CH Gayle was severe to Kamran Khan for whom he hit 4 fours and 4 sixes in his two overs. Pune Warriors tasted success when Yuvraj Singh introduced R sharma into the attack. In reply Pune warriors opened the batting with JD Ryder and TD Paine, Royal Challengers bagalore opened the bowling with Zaheer Khan. Pune warriors had a bad start when TD Paine was out to S Aravind for 8 of 17 balls, which in T20 is unacceptable. Then JD Ryder and MK Pandey tried to build a partnership. Delhi Daredevils won the toss and selected to bowl first. For Pune warriors JD Ryder and GC Smith opened the batting, for Delhi Daredevils Y Venugopal Rao opened the bowling. Pune warriors had a reasonably good start until GC Smith was out. M Manhas too went quickly after scoring 20 runs. JD Ryder on other hand took it on him and hit 5 glorious sixes and took Pune warriors to nearly 100 of the first 10 overs. Once he was out for 60 to S Nadeem, Yuvraj Singh took it on from where JD Ryder left it. Inspite of not much support from other end Yuvraj Singh kept on scoring runs and took Pune warriors to a fanstastic score of 187 for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. In Reply Delhi Daredevils opened the batting with DA Warner and V Sehwag, for Pune warriors AC Thomas opened the bowling. Delhi Daredevils had a superb start when both DA Warner and V Sehwag blasted the pune warriors bowlers to all parts of the ground. Delhi where 75 for no loss in the first 7 overs. Once DA Warner and V Sehwag where out in quick succession Delhi Daredevils lost the momentum and started loosing wickets. Yuvraj singh was the main destroyer in the middle of the innings. Kings XI Punjab after a bad season last year are looking good with a complete make over and on the other hand Pune Warriors are making their Debut in IPL. Lets see how they handle their first match in IPL 2011 season.

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bat first. For Kings XI Punjab AC Gilchrist and SE Marsh opened the batting and Pune Warriors who are making their debut opened the bowling with AC Thomas and SB Wagh. Kings XI Punjab had a horror start and in no time AC thomas and SB Wagh where all over them in no time. Within four over Kings XI Punjab scored 9 runs for the loss of 4 top order wickets. With the exception of R McLaren, Kings XI Punjab coudnt come out of the disastrous start and scored just 112 for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. For Kings XI punjab R McLaren scored 51*, for Pune Warriors SB Wagh took 3 and AC Thomas took 2 wickets respectively.

In reply Pune warriors lost GC Smith of the very first ball. Then JD Ryder and M Manhas played cautiously and made a move on. Pune warriors had a little trouble when both JD Ryder and M Manhas where out within 4 balls to AM Nayar and R McLaren respectively. RV Uthappa and Yuvraj Singh made sure that there are no more troubles and took Pune warriors home with 7 wickets and nearly 7 overs to spare. It was a incredible debut win for Pune warriors in IPL.
