Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 35: Royal Challengers Bangalore v Pune Warriors"
Hi and Welcome to the 35th Match of the IPL 2011 season between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors. Pune Warriors are looking lost after their recent losses and on other side Royal Challengers bangalore have gathered the much needed momentum after the arrival of Chris Gayle. Lets see if Royal challengers Bangalore maintain their momentum or Pune Warriors snatch the momentum from Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Pune Warriors won the toss and selected to bowl first. For Royal challengers Bangalore CH Gayle and TM Dilshan opened the batting and for Pune Warriors AC Thomas opened the bowling. Royal challengers Bangalore start was yet again impressive with CH Gayles big hitting. In less tha 7 overs Royal challengers Bangalore scored more than 50 runs without any loss. CH Gayle was severe to Kamran Khan for whom he hit 4 fours and 4 sixes in his two overs. Pune Warriors tasted success when Yuvraj Singh introduced R sharma into the attack. R Sharma took TM Dilshan in his first over and CH Gayle in his second. V Kohli and AB de Villiers then repaired the Royal challengers Bangalore innings and added further 66 runs in less than 9 overs. JE Taylor bowled a fantastic final over for Pune warriors to restrict Royal Challengers Bangalore to 181 for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. For Royal challengers Bangalore V Kohli scored 67 and CH Gayle 49, for pune warriors AC Thomas and R Sharma took 2 wickets each.
In reply Pune warriors opened the batting with JD Ryder and TD Paine, Royal Challengers bagalore opened the bowling with Zaheer Khan. Pune warriors had a bad start when TD Paine was out to S Aravind for 8 of 17 balls, which in T20 is unacceptable. Then JD Ryder and MK Pandey tried to build a partnership. Pune warriors dindnt loose wicket in next 6 overs but coudnt score much runs as well. JD Ryder was out after his fity and MK Pandey soon followed him when he holed out to long off of DL Vettori. Yuvraj Singh and RV Uthappa tried to scored runs quickly and were threatning to close it on, that Zaheer Khan bowled an exceptional over in which he got rid of Yuvraj Singh and thus Pune Warriors coudnt pull of a chase. Pune warriors where well short by 26 runs. For Pune Warriors JD Ryder scored 51 and Yuvraj Singh scored 41, for Royal challengers Bangalore Zaheer Khan, S Aravind, DL Vettori, CH Gayle and J Syed Mohammad took a wicket a piece.
Man of the Match is Virat Kohli for his entertaining 67

Welcome to Match No 24 of 2011 IPL between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal challengers Bangalore. Kolkata knight riders are on a high after their back to back wins and other side Royal chanllengers Bangalore are a little down with the recent losses. Chris Gayle's purchase has bring some hope and strongness to royal challengers bangalore.
Royal challengers bangalore won the toss and Daniel Vettori, Royal challengers bangalore captain elected to field first. Haddin and Kallis gave a good start to kolkatta knight riders scoring 10 an over. Once Haddin was out caught at point Gambhir, captain of Kolkatta Knight Riders came in to the middle and didnt let the momentum down. He and Kallis play really well to get to Kolkatta Knight riders score past 100. Once Gambhir and Kallis were gone, Yousuf pathan stepped up and for the first time in 2011 ipl showed his much anticipated hitting with three fours and three sixes. With that late blitz Kolkatta Knight Riders scored a decent yet defendable score of 171. For Kolkatta Knight riders Kallis (40), Gambhir(48), yousuf(46) where the contributers, where as for Royal Challengers Bangalore S Aravind took two wickets.
Dilshan and Chris Gayle opened the batting for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Right from the word go Chris Gayle blasted the Kolkatta Knight Riders bowling. Dilshan too joined the party later on but was overshadowed by the giant's giant innings. Royal challengers banglaore had their first and last success when Dilshan was out bowled to Balaji for 38. Kohli came after the fall of dilshan and Gayle completed his century of 55 balls and showed all the IPL franchises lesson for ignoring him during the auction. Gayle innings was brutal, he scored 102 of 55 balls with 10 fours and 7 sixes. All of a sudden royal challengers bangalore batting had become strong. Bangalore won safely under Gayles century.
Man of the match was Royal Challengers Bangalore's Chris Gayle for his Superb Century.
Score: Royal Challengers Bangalore 175 for 1 (Gayle 102*,Dilshan 38, Balaji 1-43) beat Kolkata Knight Riders 171 for 5 (Gambhir 48, Yousuf 46, Aravind 2-37 ) by nine wickets
