Hi and Welcome to the 35th Match of the IPL 2011 season between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors. Pune Warriors are looking lost after their recent losses and on other side Royal Challengers bangalore have gathered the much needed momentum after the arrival of Chris Gayle. Pune Warriors won the toss and selected to bowl first. For Royal challengers Bangalore CH Gayle and TM Dilshan opened the batting and for Pune Warriors AC Thomas opened the bowling. Royal challengers Bangalore start was yet again impressive with CH Gayles big hitting. In less tha 7 overs Royal challengers Bangalore scored more than 50 runs without any loss. CH Gayle was severe to Kamran Khan for whom he hit 4 fours and 4 sixes in his two overs. Pune Warriors tasted success when Yuvraj Singh introduced R sharma into the attack. JE Taylor bowled a fantastic final over for Pune warriors to restrict Royal Challengers Bangalore to 181 for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In reply Pune warriors opened the batting with JD Ryder and TD Paine, Royal Challengers bagalore opened the bowling with Zaheer Khan. Pune warriors had a bad start when TD Paine was out to S Aravind for 8 of 17 balls, which in T20 is unacceptable. Then JD Ryder and MK Pandey tried to build a partnership. Pune warriors dindnt loose wicket in next 6 overs but coudnt score much runs as well. JD Ryder was out after his fity and MK Pandey soon followed him when he holed out to long off of DL Vettori. Yuvraj Singh and RV Uthappa tried to scored runs quickly and were threatning to close it on, that Zaheer Khan bowled an exceptional over in which he got rid of Yuvraj Singh and thus Pune Warriors coudnt pull of a chase. Pune warriors where well short by 26 runs. For Pune Warriors JD Ryder scored 51 and Yuvraj Singh scored 41, for Royal challengers Bangalore Zaheer Khan, S Aravind, DL Vettori, CH Gayle and J Syed Mohammad took a wicket a piece.

Hi and Welcome to the Match No 14 of the IPL season 2011 between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chennai Super Kings had good begining to this IPL and they are the defending champions and on other side Royal challengers Bangalore havent had any impact and they getting worse with each game. lets see if they can make their role reversal or will it be the same.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. For Chennai Super Kings MEK Hussey and M Vijay opened the batting, for Royal challengers Bangalore Zaheer Khan opened the bowling. Chennai Super Kings had a great start when they where 50 without any loss in 6 overs. Royal challengers Bangalore lost M Vijay and SK Raina played some great shots and had palyed a cameo with 29 runs. MS Dhoni too played few shots in his innings of 22 runs. MEK Hussey played brilliantly and carried his bat thru and made sure chennai scored a defendable total of 183 runs with a loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. for Chennai super kings MEK Hussey scored 83* and M Vijay scored 31, for Royal challengers Bangalore JJ van der Wath and R Ninan took two wickets each.

In reply royal challengers bangalore opened the batting with MA Agarwal and TM Dilshan, Chennai Super kings opened the bowling with JA Morkel. Royal challengers Bangalore lost two quick wickets with just 17 on the board. V Kohli and AB de Villiers tried to repair the damage and in the process of scoring quickly V kohli was out to SB Jakati. There on Royal Challengers Bangalore kept loosing wickets at regular intervals and scored just 162 for the loss of 7 wickets in their permitted 20 overs. Mumbai Indians are riding high with Success and Royal Challengers Bangalore are on other side looks ordinary. Lets see if Royal Challengers Bangalore can match to the standards of Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first. Royal Challengers bangalore opened the batting with MA Agarwal and TM Dilshan, for Mumbai Indians SL Malinga opened the bowling. MA Agarwal was bowled of the very first scorching yorker from SL Malinga. V Kohli came and left soon when he was out to KA Pollard. AB de Villiers and TM Dilshan slowly tried to repair the innings of Royal challengers bangalore. Inspite of the late blitz Royal challengers Bangalore managed to score 140 for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. For Royal challengers banglore TM Dilshan scored 59* and AB de Villiers scored 38, for Mumbai Indians SL Malinga and KA Pollard took two wickets each.

In reply Mumbai Indians opened the batting with the Master Sachin Tendulkar and DJ Jacobs, for Royal Challengers Bangalore Z Khan opened the bowling. DJ Jacobs gave a good start to Mumbai Indians and was later bowled of DP Nannes for 22 trying to score quick. After DJ Jacobs exit AT Rayudu joined Sachin Tendulkar and made sure there were no more hiccups and took Mumbai Indians home with 9 wickets 9 balls to spare. AT Rayudu and Sachin Tendulkar both scored 50's. For Mumbai Indians AT Rayudu scored 63* and Sachin Tendulkar scored 55*, for Royal Challengers Bangalore DP Nannes took a wicket.

Cricket: "Delhi Dare Devils win's thriller against Chenai Super Kings"

Delhi Dare Devils won the high scoring thriller against Chennai Super kings at Kingsmead, Durban. It was easily the best match till date in IPL Season 2. It was any body's game till the last over of the match.

Delhi Dare Devils won the toss and elected to bat first. Delhi started it disastrously by losing Gambhir of the very first ball. Sehwag soon followed him the next over and delhi were 8 for 2 off the first 2 overs. Then came the most consistent batsman devillers and man for the crisis Dilshan to crease. They started rather cautiously but once settled down started exploding. Dilshan was the main scorer in their partnership and scored quick 50 of just 26 balls and holed out to raina off morkel. Score was reading 76 of 8.3 and much was left on Devillers to carry on from were dilshan left. He indeed took the responsibility and scored a timely century to steer his team out of trouble. This was the first century for IPL season 2 and single handedly took Delhi to a wonderful 189 of their stipulated 20 overs.

In reply Chennai Super kings had a good confident start with their opening pair patel and hayden scoring 57 of the first 5 overs. Patel was the first to go trying to hit sangwan out of the ground and holing out to Devillers. Then Hayden and Raina tried to consolidate but the asking rate was always high which took a toll on chennai and they sccumbed in lieu of chasing such a huge target. But chennai super kings must be commended for their heroic approach in their chase. They came very close but coudnt make it. But what ever it is Delhi got their 2 points and Chennai didnt, at last this is what matters most.

Man of the Match was awarded to AB de Villiers for his Match Winning and First IPL Season 2 Century (105 of 54 balls).
