Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 36: Kochi Tuskers Kerala v Delhi Daredevils"

Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to bat first. For Delhi Daredevils DA Warner and v Sehwag opened the batting, for Kochi Tuskers Kerala RP Singh opened the bowling. Kochi Tuskers Kerala had a great start when they took three wickets within 6 overs with just 35 on the board, thanks to S Sreesanth who ware bowling beautifully. Delhi on other hand where on the backfoot but where not out as V Sehwag was looking strong other side. V Sehwag took the responsibility on his shoulders and with Y Nagar and TR Birt made sure that Delhi Daredevils reached a defendable total. Delhi Daredevils scored 157 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. For Delhi Daredevils V Sehwag Scored 80, for Kochi Tuskers Kerala S Sreesanth took 2 wickets.
In reply Kochi Tuskers Kerala opened the batting with BB McCullum and M Klinger, for Delhi Daredevils IK Pathan opened the bowling. Kochi tuskers kerala's chase was jolted with IK Pathan's double stike. In less than 10 overs Kochi Tuskers kerala where 50 runs for the loss of 4 top order wickets. BJ Hodge and RA Jadeja played cameos but that coudnt save Kochi Tuskers Kerala from the defeat. Kochi Tuskers Kerala managed just 119 of in less than 19 overs. For Kochi Tuskers Kerala RA Jadeja scored 31 and BJ Hodge scored 27, for Delhi Daredevils M Morkel and RE Van der Merwe took two wickets each.

Kolkata knight riders won the toss and elected to field first. For Kochi Tuskers Kerala McCullum and Jayawardene gave a great start. They scored 49 of 7 overs, when McCullum was the first wicket of Sakib Al Hasan. Jayawardene too perish in the next over to yousuf pathan and Kochi Tuskers Kerala kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. Jadeja made a quick fire 29 to revive the Kochi Tuskers Kerala score. Kochi Tuskers Kerala scored a defendable score of 132 of their 20 overs. Apart from MK Tiwary Kilkata Knight Riders kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. Tiway made a crucial knowck of 46 but coudnt get Kolkata Knight Riders across the line. Good Captaincy, fielding and tight bowling won the match for Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Kochi Tuskers Kerala won the match by 6 runs. For Kolkatta Knight Riders MK Tiwary made a fighting knock of 46, for Kochi Tuskers Kerala RP Singh and RA Jadeja took 2 wickets a piece.
Man of the Match is DPMD Jayawardene for his crucial 25 runs and amazing captaincy.

SK Raina held the innings at one end, but other end Chennai lost wickets at regular intervals. S Badrinath and MS Dhoni played little cameos. Chennai Super Kings scored 131 for the loss of 4 wickets in 17 overs. For Chennai Super Kings SK Raina scored 50 and M Vijay scored 28, for Kochi Tuskers Kerala RP Singh, NLTC Perera and RV Gomez took a wicket each.
In reply Kochi Tuskers Kerala opened the batting with BB McCullum and DPMD Jayawardene, for Chennai Super Kings JA Morkel opened the bowling. BB McCullum gave a fantastic start to Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Inspite of DPMD Jayawardene was gone for 16 to R Ashwin when the score was 39 of 4.3 overs, BB McCullum and PA Patel scored at a rapid pace and took score at 90 with over 10 overs. Chennai Super Kings came back with wickets of BB McCullum and PA Patel, but the damage was already done. BJ Hodge and RA Jadeja then steered Kochi Tuskers Kerala home with 7 wickets in hand and 2 overs to spare. For Kochi Tuskers Kerala BB McCullum scored 47 and PA Patel scored 34, for Chennai Super Kings R Ashwin took 2 wickets.

AT Rayudu and Tendulkar further added another 116 runs in 11 overs to take Mumbai Indians score to 182 for the loss of 2 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. In reply Kochi tuskers kerala opened the batting with BB McCullum and DPMD Jayawardene, Mumbai Indians opened the bowling as usual with SL Malinga. BB McCullum and DPMD Jayawardene gave a terrific opening to Kochi Tuskers Kerala when they scored 128 in less than 14 overs. DPMD Jayawardene was bowled by SL Malinga in the 14th over and soon McCullum too was yorked by SL Malinga when the score was 156.
