Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 36: Kochi Tuskers Kerala v Delhi Daredevils"



Hi and welcome to the 36th match of the IPL 2011 season between Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Delhi Daredevils. Delhi Daredevils are doing very bad in this IPL and V Sehwag look out of form, Kochi Tuskers Kerala too looking lost in their debut IPL. Lets see who wins this battle of bottoms.

Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to bat first. For Delhi Daredevils DA Warner and v Sehwag opened the batting, for Kochi Tuskers Kerala RP Singh opened the bowling. Kochi Tuskers Kerala had a great start when they took three wickets within 6 overs with just 35 on the board, thanks to S Sreesanth who ware bowling beautifully. Delhi on other hand where on the backfoot but where not out as V Sehwag was looking strong other side. V Sehwag took the responsibility on his shoulders and with Y Nagar and TR Birt made sure that Delhi Daredevils reached a defendable total. Delhi Daredevils scored 157 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. For Delhi Daredevils V Sehwag Scored 80, for Kochi Tuskers Kerala S Sreesanth took 2 wickets.

In reply Kochi Tuskers Kerala opened the batting with BB McCullum and M Klinger, for Delhi Daredevils IK Pathan opened the bowling. Kochi tuskers kerala's chase was jolted with IK Pathan's double stike. In less than 10 overs Kochi Tuskers kerala where 50 runs for the loss of 4 top order wickets. BJ Hodge and RA Jadeja played cameos but that coudnt save Kochi Tuskers Kerala from the defeat. Kochi Tuskers Kerala managed just 119 of in less than 19 overs. For Kochi Tuskers Kerala RA Jadeja scored 31 and BJ Hodge scored 27, for Delhi Daredevils M Morkel and RE Van der Merwe took two wickets each.

Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 32: Kochi Tuskers Kerala v Deccan Chargers"



Hi and Welcome to the 32nd Match of the IPL 2011 season between Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Deccan Chargers. Deccan Chargers are going into this match after their heavy loss to Mumbai Indians and Kochi Tuskers Kerala are coming out to their loss to Chennai super kings. Lets see who will win this battle of bottoms.

Kochi Tuskers kerala won the toss and opted to bowl first. Deccan Chargers Opened with S Sohal and S Dhawan, Kochi Tuskers Kerala opened with RP Singh and S Sreesanth. Hyderabad Deccan Chargers had a disastrous start to the match when they last their top 3 batsmen with just 20 on the board in the 6th over. RP Singh taking two of those wickets and R Vinay Kumar the other. KC Sangakkara and CL White then cautiously started the repair. KC Sangakkara was more aggresive between the two and scored an odd boundary each over and took out the pressure on CL White. Once set both lauched the attack and added another 90 runs in 10 overs. Both where out in consecutive delivers to R Vinay kumar and in the process Hyderabad deccan chargers made a respectable and defendable total on a seamer friend pitch. Hyderabad Deccan Chargers made 129/7 of their allotted 20 overs. For Hyderabad Deccan Chargers KC Sangakkara scored a gritty 65 and CL White scored a strong 31, for Kochi Tuskers Kerala R vinay kumar took 3 and RP Singh took 2 wickets respectively.

In reply kochi tuskers kerala had a very very bad start, it was even more disastrous than Hyderabad deccan chargers. They lost their 6 wickets for 11 runs in 4 overs. Ishant Sharma and DW Steyn where the main distroyers. Ishant Sharma took 5 wickets of those and DW Steyn starting it all with the first wicket. Kochi tuskers kerala didnt recover from the horror start and where bowled for just 74 in less than 17 overs. Hyderabad Deccan Chargers won by 55 runs. For Kochi tuskers kerala RA Jadeja scored 23 and NLTC Perera 22, for Hyderabad Deccan chargers Ishant Sharma took 5 and Dale Steyn 3 wickets respectively.

Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 3: Kochi Tuskers Kerala v Royal Challengers Bangalore"



Hi and Welcome to the 3rd Match of the IPL 2011 season between Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kochi Tuskers Kerala are making their debut in IPL 2011 season with this match. For Royal Challengers Bangalore this is their first match of the IPL 2011 season. Lets see how they fared.

Kochi Tuskers Kerala won the toss and elected to bat first. Kochi Tuskers Kerala opened with BB McCullum and VVS Laxman. Kochi Tuskers Kerala had a brilliant start with both BB McCullum and VVS Laxman where in fine touch and scored 80 of 9 overs. Once VVS Laxman was out to TM Dilshan Kochi Tuskers Kerala's run rate slowed down and kept loosing wickets at regular interval. Late blows from BJ Hodge and RA Jadeja got some respectability to Kochi Tuskers Kerala's total to defend with. For Kochi Tuskers Kerala BB McCullum made 45 and VVS Laxman made 36 and for Royal Challengers Bangalore Vettori, Dilshan, Kohli, Nannes and Zaheer took a wicket a piece.

Royal challengers Bangalore had a horror start when S Sreesanth had TM Dilshan caught. But Royal challengers Bangalore Agarwal and V Kohli played well to get a move on. Once Royal challengers Bangalore's both the batsmen were out, kochi tuskers keral applied pressure on the royal challengers bangalore batsmen. Royal Challengers batsmen AB de Villiers and ss Tiwary made sure than they didnt loose wickets and also made sure that runrate was also under control. Once SS Tiwary was out AB de Villiers launched the attack and took Royal challengers home with much to spare. Royal challengers bangalore won convinsingly by 6 wickets with 8 balls to spare. For Royal Challengers bangalore AB de Villiers made 54* and Agarwal made 33 and for Kochi Tuskers Kerala Sreesanth, Jadeja, Vinay Kumar and Gomez took a wicket a piece.
