Hi and Welcome to the Match No 44 of the IPL 2011 season between Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians are the leaders of IPL 2011 till date and looking good to make the playoffs, on other hand Pune warriors had a disastrous debut to the IPL 2011 season. Pune Warriors won the toss and elected to bowl first. For Mumbai Indians AC Blizzard and SR Tendulkar opened the batting, for Pune warriors AC Thomas opened the bowling. Mumbai Indians lost AC Blizzard early in the innings for 6. SR Tendulkar and AT Rayudu again threatened to take the match away but Yuvraj Singh's double stike pegged back Mumbai Indians. R Sharma's double stike even more deterioted the Mumbai Indians innings. Late Stikes from TL Suman and KA Pollard brought back Mumbai Indians on track. Mumbai Indians finished with a healthy 160 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. For Mumbai Indians TL Suman scored 36 and KA Pollard scored 28, for Pune warriors JE Taylor, Yuvraj Singh, R sharma took 2 wickets each.

In reply Pune warriors opened the batting with JD Ryder and MK Pandey, for Mumbai Indians Harbhajan Singh opened the bowling. Pune warriors lost JD Ryder of the very first ball to Harbhajan Singh. GC Smith too had a painful stay for his 6 and was eventually out of MM Patel. AA Jhunjhunwala came ahead of Yuvraj Singh and instead of helping pune warriors he created more trouble by wasting balls and getting out to KA Pollard. Yuvraj Singh came out in a pressure situation and with MK Pandey scored some glorious shots but eventually fell under pressure for 20 to a SL Malings bouncer. RV Uthappa and MK Pandey then threatened to take the match away with awesome hitting. Pune warriors hope vanished when MK Pandey was out to SL Malinga and Pune warriors eventually scored 139 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Pune warriors lost with 21 runs. For Pune warriors MK Pandey scored 59 and RV Uthappa scored 34*, for Mumbai Indians again SL Malinga took 3 wickets.

Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 40: Mumbai Indians v Kings XI Punjab"

Hi and Welcome to the Match No 40 of the IPL 2011 season between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab. Mumbai Indians are still ahead in the points table and would like to show their authority in this match too, on the other hand Kings XI Punjab after recent impressive wins have again come back to their loosing stream. Lets see if Kings XI Punjab can pull this off or atleast give a tight fight to Mumbai Indians.

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and opted to bowl first. For Mumbai Indians DJ Jacobs and Sachin Tendulkar opened the batting, for Kings XI Punjab BA Bhatt opened the bowling. Mumbai Indians lost DJ Jacobs early for 10 when the score was 14 of 2.3 overs. Then Sachin Tendulkar and AT Rayudu score 95 runs of just 12 overs and gave a good platform for the next batsmen to come and play thier shots. Sachin Tendulkar and AT rayudu where out after their respective fifties. KA Pollard and RG Sharma played some big shots at the end of the innings to bloster the total of Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians finished with 159 for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. For Mumbai Indians Sachin Tendulkar and AT Rayudu scored 51 each, for Kings XI Punjab RJ Harris and PP Chawla took 2 wickets each.

In reply Kings XI Punjab opened the batting with PC Valthaty and AC Gilchrist, for Mumbai Indians Harbhajan Singh opened the bowling. Harbhajan Singh struck in his very first over when he caught AC Gilchrist leg before for 0. PC Valthaty and SE Marsh then played cautiously and scored 72 runs in 10 overs. Once PC Valthaty was out to A Symonds, flood gates where opened and Kings XI Punjab lost wickets quickly one after another. SE Marsh tried his best till the end and scored a brilliant 61. Kings XI Punjab finished with 136 for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Kings XI Punjab fell short by 23 runs. Welcome to Match No: 25 between the giants of IPL 2011 Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. These are the defending finalist of the IPL 2010. Both the teams are likely favourites this time around too, lets see how the encounter went through.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and their captain Dhoni elected to field first. For Mumbai Indians R Sathish and Tendulkar opened the batting and for Chennai Super kings JA Morkel opened the bowling. Mumbai Indians lost both the openers R Sathish and Tendulkar quiet cheaply and the Chennai Super Kings bowlers where threatening to make further in roads into Mumbai Indians. Then came Rohit Sharma for the rescue, he and Rayudu played very well and their parternship of 61 helped Mumbai Indians out of trouble. Once Rayudu was out Rohit sharma and Symmonds made sure Mumbai Indians reached a above par total of 164 of their 20 overs. For Mumbai Indians Rohit sharma scored 87, Symmonds 31 and Rayudu 27, for Chennai Super Kings Bollinger took 2 wickets.

Chennai super kings had a good start from their openers Hussey and vijay. Munaf provided the first break through for Mumbai Indians when he dismissed Vijay for 12 in 4th over. Chennai super kings lost raina quickly for 5 caught and bowled by Harbhajan. Hussey and Badrinath partnerhsip was threatening to take the match away. then entered malinga, who bowled a short ball to hussey who then tires to pull but coudnt get enough and outside edge was just touching the ground that pollard dived full length to catch it and give hopes for Mumbai Indians. Once Hussey was back to the pavilion, Chennai super kings lost wickets at regular intervals but Badrinath played his shots from other end and match was undecided till the last three balls where 17 was required of 3 balls. Munaf bowled nervless 3 balls and Mumbai where home with 8 runs. For chennai super kings Badrinath socred 71* and Hussey 41, for Mumbai Indians Harbhajan took 5 wickets.

Hello and welcome to the 4th Match of IPL 2011 Season between Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians. First match for the giants of IPL in terms of players popularity. It is expected to be an excited game. Let see how the teams battled it out.

Delhi Daredevils won the toss and opted to bat first. DA Warner and Virender Sehwag opened the batting for Delhi Daredevils, to every ones surprise Sachin tendulkar opened the bowling for Mumbai Indians with Harbhajan Singh. Delhi Daredevils lost their first wicket in second over when DA Warner was yorked by Malinga. Delhi Daredevils within no time lost 3 quick wickets and were looking to loose more wickets when NV Ojha and Y Venugopal Rao played cautiously to add another 42 runs to the total. Once NV Ojha was Out to AG Mortaza Delhi Daredevils kept loosing wickets and in no time they were allout for 95 in less than 18 overs. For Delhi Dare Devils NV Ojha scored 29 and Y Venugopal rao scored 26, for Mumbai Indians Malinga took 5 wickets and Harbhajan took 2 wickets respectively.

In reply Mumbai Indians opened with DJ Jacobs and Sachin Tendulkar. Mumbai Indians lost DJ Jacobs in the very second over when M Morkel bowled DJ Jacobs for 1. Sachin Tendulkar and AT Rayudu added another 30 runs in 5 overs to Mumbai Indians total, when AT Rayudu was runout by an outstanding work from Van der Merwe. Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma made sure that there are no more casualities and took Mumbai indians home with more than 3 overs to spare. For Mumbai Indians Tendulkar scored 46* and Rohit Sharma scored 27*, for Delhi Daredevils M Morkel took the only wicket.
