In reply Rajasthan Royals opened the batting with SR Watson and R Dravid, Mumbai Indians opened the bowling as usual with SL Malinga. Rajasthan Royals started their chase very slowly and lost R Dravid early for 5 to Munaf Patel. J Botha and SR Watson played cautiously and slowly moved towards the target. They waited for the loose balls and punished them when Mumbai Indians offered them. SR Watson was out to SL Malinga for a well made 26 and J Botha continued with his shots and steered Rajasthan Royals home.
