Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 43: Chennai Super Kings v Rajasthan Royals"



Hi and welcome to the Match No 43 of the IPL 2011 season between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals are on a high and giving stiff competition for the top spot for Mumbai Indians and Chennai super kings have made a quick turn around from bottom of the points table to top four. Lets see who gets the momentum ahead by winning this crucial match.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat first. For Rajasthan Royals SR Watson and R Dravid opened the batting, for Chennai Super Kings JA Morkel opened the bowling. SR Watson and R Dravid gave Rajasthan Royals a fantastic start when they were 86 for no loss of the first 10 overs. Thing changes fast as Rajasthan Royals lost the way and kept loosing wickets. It all started with a brilliant return catch by SB Jakati to get rid of SR Watson. R Dravid held his wicket at other end for a while but he coudnt bloster the total and was out to S Randiv. LRPL Taylor played few shots for his 20 before getting out to JA Morkel. Inspite of the fantastic start Rajasthan Royals managed 147 for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. For Rajasthan Royals R Dravid scored 66 and SR Watson scored 32, for Chennai Super Kings SB Jakati and JA Morkel took 2 wickets a piece.

In reply Chennai Super kings opened the batting with MEK Hussey and M Vijay, for Rajasthan Royals ND Doshi opened the bowling. Chennai Super Kings lost M Vinay in the second over when he was caught leg before by J Botha for 5 and scored at 8 of 2 overs. MEK Hussey and SK Raina then attacked the Rajasthan Royals bowlers and where near to vitory. SK Raina in anticipation of finishing the match with a boundary was out to SK Trivedi. MEK Hussey completed the finishing formalities and chennai where home with 8 wickets and 8 balls to spare. For Chennai Super Kings MEK Hussey scored 79* and SK Raina scored 61, for Rajasthan Royals J Botha and SK Trivedi took a wicket a piece.

Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 38: Rajasthan Royals v Pune Warriors"



Hi and Welcome to the Match No 38 of the IPL 2011 season between Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors. Pune warriors are at the bottom of the table after their consecutive 5 losses and Rajasthan royals will top the table if they can win today. Lets see if Pune warriors can pull one back or Rajasthan Royals goes top of the table.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl first. For Pune Warriors JD Ryder and MK Pandey opened the batting, for Rajasthan Royals J Botha opened the bowling. Pune warriors had a good start until JD Ryder was out to J botha. RV Uthappa and MK Pandey then added 46 runs in next 5 overs. RV uthappa was out to SK Warne when he tried to attack. Rajasthan Royals kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. Yuvraj Singh too coudnt score much. Pune warriors scored just 143 for the loss of 7 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. For Pune warriors RV Uthappa scored 35 and MK Pandey scored 30, for Rajasthan Royals SK Trivedi took 2 wickets.

In reply Rajasthan royals opened the batting with SR Watson and R Dravid, for Pune warriors M kartik opened the bowling. Rajasthan Royals had a bad start when they lost there 3 top order wickets in first 10 overs with just 59 on the board. For Pune warriors R Sharma took 2 of those wickets with tight bowling. AL Menaria and LRPL Taylor then counter attacked the pune warriors bowlers and scored 33 of just 4 overs. Once AL Menaria was out to R sharma, giving him his 3rd wicket. After AL Menaria was out LRPL Taylor took it on and completed a convincinly win for Rajasthan Royals with 6 wickets and 3 balls to spare. For Rajasthan Royals LRPL Taylor scored 47* and AL Menaria scored 29, for Pune warriors R Sharma took 3 wickets.

Cricket: "IPL 2011 Match No 12: Rajasthan Royals v Kolkata Knight Riders"



Hi and Welcome to the 12th Match of the IPL 2011 season between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. Rajasthan Royals are settling in very well and looking threatening with each passing game and on other hand Kolkata Knight Riders havent been as strong as the team suggests. Lets see who will show their command and win this match and move up the points table.

Kolkata Knight riders won the toss and opted to bowl first. For Rajasthan Royals AG Paunikar and R Dravid opened the batting, for Kolkata Knight riders B Lee opened the bowling. Rajasthan Royals lost AG Paunikar early to Shakib Al Hasan. R Dravid and AL Menaria batted well and where on their way to take Rajasthan Royals towards a big score. YK Pathan had a double strike for Kolkata Knight Riders and peged them back. But a late burst fro SR watson and LRPL Taylor made sure that Rajasthan royals scored a reasonable 159 for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. For Rajasthan Royals R Dravid and LRPL Taylor scored 35 each, for Kolkata Knight Riders Shakib Al Hasan and YK Pathan took 2 wickets a piece.

In reply Kolkata Knight Riders opened the batting with MS Bisla and JH Kallis, for Rajasthan Royals AL Menaria Opened the bowling. Kolkata Knight Riders lost MS Bisla very early when we was run out in the second over. G Gambhir and JH Kallis made sure that there were no more hiccups and pace their innings very well and took Kolkata Knight riders home with 9 wickets and 9 balls to spare. For Kolkata Knight Riders JH Kallis scored 80* and G Gambhir 75*.
